NER verification and allocation rules are complex and typically in a state of development. Employing an experienced verifier is critical to ensuring your installation receives its full allocation. It is also essential to ensure your Verifier is fully UKAS accredited for the NER scope in question.

CICS is the country’s leading Verifier, with more verification experience than all other Verifiers combined. CICS verifies over 70% of the UK’s emissions under EU ETS and completed the vast majority of PII baseline & PI NER work including:

  • Power Generation
  • General Combustion
  • CHPQA
  • Rationalisation
  • Gypsum
  • Mineral Wool
  • Ceramics
  • Glass
  • Offshore
  • Petrochemicals

CICS is also the only verifier to employ a full time Technical Team dedicated to EU ETS. This team work closely with all Regulators and ensure all verification services can provide the best possible solutions, working to the latest rules and interpretations.

It is CICS policy to provide robust pragmatic verification solutions, using expert Verifiers who will provide industry leading service and are capable of meeting the very tight timescales involved.
