Integrated Certification

Integrated ManagementWith an ever increasing number of certificates issued worldwide, ISO9001:2000 remains the globally recognised standard for Quality Management and as a result of raised public awareness and increasing legislation ISO 14001:2004 has become the fastest growing certification standard in the world. This, together with the emergence of OHSAS 18001:2007, has put increased pressure on business management systems.

For most of these companies their certification body manages quality separately to environment, with no co-ordination and a resulting duplication of effort, time and cost. Add to this the potential need for Health & Safety certification under OHSAS 18001 and the possible need for site audits under Emissions Trading; then the benefits of integration become clear.

The Benefits

The business benefits brought by integrating your systems results in a significant improvement in effectiveness and efficiency by;

  • A single management system running your business and focusing on your objectives.
  • Prioritising risks to the business as a whole rather than specific quality, environmental or health & safety issues.
  • System based on continual improvement and risk focused, assisting in the mitigation of identified risk and focus on meeting strategic objectives.
  • Improved Efficiency and effectiveness
  • Eliminating duplication of core activities
  • Simplification and reduction of documentation
  • Decreased disruption to your business, eliminating duplication of audit activity and fewer audits
  • Improved communication flow and recognition and understanding of responsibilities and interrelationships.
