CICS offers monitoring, reporting and verification services for both voluntary emissions reporting and the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS).

From January 1st 2010, the EU ETS requires eligible airlines to monitor their CO2 emissions. By 31st March 2011 these must be verified and reported, ahead of full trading beginning in 2012.
