CICS offers monitoring, reporting and verification services for both voluntary emissions reporting and the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS).

From January 1^st 2010, the EU ETS requires eligible airlines to monitor their CO₂ emissions. By 31^st March 2011 these must be verified and reported, ahead of full trading beginning in 2012.
